The Basic Womenswear Dress course is a short course about industrial womenswear patternmaking which aims at delving into basic themes related to a dress with or without darts.
16 hours weekly for 5 weeks.
Students will receive teaching handouts for each course along with paper, cardboard and a kit of useful tools for patternmaking classes such as :a set square, a bradawl and a tape measure.

operating procedure to transform a drawing into a pattern, regarding stand – up collars
for buttoned garments;
mandarin – style collar basis with top collar;
“burberry’s” full collar basis;
“burberry’s” collar basis with top collar stand;
procedure to insert collar points / front button placket closures.
Procedure of pattern grading: grading up sizes (increase sizes)
