EARTH SKY
Wear the life cycle of Nature, a project included in the Bologna Fashion Festival 2024, event promoted by Centergross
View the photo gallery of the project we presented on Friday 13th September at the Bologna headquarters of Next Fashion School.
The young fashion students representing the Next Generation explained through images, inspirations and details of the making-of their vision, which has transformed from virtual into reality with outfits worn and interpreted.
Creativity has no defined limits and succeeds in connecting distant spaces, sometimes opposing ones.
A root sinks into the earth's shadow and draws nourishment from it; it is solid, reliable and generates growth that instead sees the light, sprouts into the sky and displays shapes and colours.
How many analogies with the roots of traditions, know-how, craftsmanship and experience that then blossom into luminous, exuberant projects full of personality.
Earth and Sky, one without the other, would be limited; together they complement each other and are a hymn to nature.
In this exhibition we have shown the importance of having roots in the local area, of knowing its peculiarities, its unique aspects, its inestimable value and the desire to make them something to be worn with pride and dignity.
Next Generation talent has created garments that aim to express, like a shoot, contemporary and avant-garde aesthetics, generated by tenacious and robust rhizomes that withstand time and act as its guardians.
