Next at the Festival of the Human

Next Fashion School is participating with its students Liria Gaio, Lisa Vertuani and Giulia Lucarelli in the first edition of the Festival of the Human, an event that in six months from 12 April to 18 September 2021), through workshops, debates and webinars, aims to bring the focus back to humanity, in an era where digital technology plays a leading role in our lives.
The National Museum of Science and Technology hosting the event, collaborates with’I Am Association, founded in 2019 by Andrea Pezzi and Cristiana Capotondi, the Association aims to create a cultural movement that champions the great values of Humanism.

Among the online appointments, the webinars feature an audience of students interacting with the speakers, these are the topics:

Monday 12 April Ontology (The Human Being and their identity) with Federico Faggin and Edoardo Boncinelli
Monday 17 May Ethics (The Human Being in society) with Ferruccio de Bortoli
Monday 14 June Beauty salon (The Human Being and the meaning of one's existence) with Amalia Ercoli Finzi and Carlo Ventura

The work will conclude on Saturday 18 September, at the museum's Cavallerizze, where workshops and conferences will be held, an event reserved for university and partner participants. The considerations that emerged during the months of work for the definition of Being Human, set in our time, will be finalised and collected.
