The stylist: a creative talent in a sustainable fashion system

Greta Roncarelli, lecturer in Fashion Styling at Next Fashion School, will provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the Stylist profession and the central role it has assumed within the Fashion System in recent years.

A relatively recent professional figure and fully integrated within the main production processes of the supply chain (collaborations between stylists and art directors are now an established reality), today the stylist is increasingly decisive in fashion communication: their expertise is perfectly aligned with the current imperative of eco-sustainability.

From the early e-commerce channels to the current phenomenon of social commerce, the stylist actually plays a key role in this new digital world: as the primary holder of skills in storytelling and creative remixing, they are the figure best able to showcase both recent and archival garments, generating new identities while respecting an increasingly ethical and circular approach.
